ARTIST STATEMENT
Creating art is the very fabric of my being, woven since childhood. I cherish the tactile experience of crafting handmade originals, surrendering to the dreamlike journey, and reveling in the triumph of bringing visions to life.
As a painter, I've specialized in large-scale oils on canvas, expanding my passion to sculpture in recent years. A decade-long collaboration with the UAF Museum of the North's team has yielded iconic faces for Alaska's newfound dinosaurs, inspiring "The Alaska Paleo-Project" educational initiative.
Education and conservation drive my creative process. Through immersive public art projects, I aim to ignite artistic spark in newcomers, raise awareness for critically endangered species and habitats, and inspire positive change.
Witnessing smiles and sparking passion fuels my artistic fire. With every piece, I strive to illuminate meaningful themes, fostering a better world.
Join me on this final chapter of my lifelong artistic journey – Cheers!
