DELIVERANCE
Deliverance is an inspirational piece full of symbolisim and intense emotion. Across the top carved in stone is the latin word for "salvation." Below amongst the rubble is the latin word meaning " to hold your ground." The columns are broken yet held together by faith. The face gazes skyward toward an intense light as the blood red robe is blown away from the body, representing the cleansing of past transgressions. The wings prepare to lift him skyward. The painting is not representational of any particular angel or diety and is a symbolic expression of a personal moment of the artists life journey.
